The Concourse Competition had eight entries.

I spoke with one of the Judges, Cody Jandrakovic (shown to the left holding a truck), and asked him what he looks for when judging a vehicle.

He looks for a clean paint-job.  He does not like to see where paint has bleed or been smeared.  He likes to see originality and creativity.  He looks for good use of colors.  He said he did not care so much if the truck was a little dirty or showed obvious signs of use, these things are meant to be driven.

All the vehicles looked great, but the judges narrowed it down to the top 4.

The first place truck really stood out because of the attention to detail that went into the body.  The AE on the rear bumper and the Team Associated name on the sides of the truck we painted on, not done with decals as most people assume when they first glance at the truck.


The bottom of this JConcepts BJ4  four wheel drive was painted to match the top.
Dan's chrome truck was super-shiny!
